Thank you, and yes it does have a roof. I found it here locally and was blown away by the price, so I grabbed it up.

So are you telling what you paid for it? LOL!

Well you already know that the car is 1 of 185, so the number is less than that, but I would say more of them had it than not. Either way, not many left.

That is the combination that I would have liked to get but settled for one without. The next cobra I buy will have the roof and black interior to match the teal and black, really looking for the black on black combo. Phillysvt there is a guy on here and listed on craigslist in cincinatti,oh with a teal with 100k miles for like 8600.

That's what I would love to have too, a black one, not picky on the interior or miles but it would have to be at least as clean as mine. The only thing I would trade my car for would be either a black one or a Terminator truthfully. Other than that, I probably wouldn't sell her!

Well if you choose to sell Brett T 03 a poster on here is looking for the same combo with a little miles and a fair price, if you choose to sell you may give him a chance to see if he would be interested.
I would like to have every color cobra with black interior with like 20k miles or less to add to the collection, I think in a few months i am going to start searching and hoping to buy one.
Great buy some people may be a little pi$$ed off at you for that like Budda said hard combo to buy for a decent price!!!
How many miles on it???

That's where the low price comes in is the miles. Way too many for my taste, but I don't really mind em, because i wouldnt sell her anyway. 140k.
I just couldn't pass up the deal I got on it, and I am about 80% sure its the only teal one in town, unless someone has one on lockdown, because I haven't even seen another Cobra in town in any color.
I've lived here for over 4 years, moved from Kansas City. I have only seen 2 other 93 Cobras, one was teal and my buddy had a red one. Plus I worked at the KC Auto auction for a while, and that's where I saw the teal one. They are very rare around here for sure!!
There were 2 others on Craigslist, one teal/gray with about 30k for $12,000, and a black/black with like 20k for $18,000, both had been modified!

Since you got it for a price like that, you did pretty well!!!! The best part of owning one of these cars is driving it through town and getting a bunch of looks, at least that's what I get when I tool around in my cars in town. Especially the mystichrome, I have seen several in the Missouri area for sale in the last couple of months lately. I would have loved to pick up the black on black cobra with 700 miles in Columbia, MO, I think it has sold.

OK, I got to start of with CONGRATS. Nice find 93cobraguy and your one LUCKY dude!

Second, I like to give  to WillyB for putting my name out there.

You don't know how lucky you are 93cobraguy. Ive been searching High and Low for one of these for the last 3 years hard. Seen a few but either to ruff (like rusted floor boards) or just plainly out of my budget.

Try to post some more pics on here, and BRAG about it.

MAN I WANT ONE OF THEM SO BAD.

With that said..My nieghbor has a 77k mile Black/Leather Gray that he wants to sell for $7.2k..... I'll buy that and give you an extra $$$$ on top for your Teal if you ever deicide to sell/trade. Just had to put that out there.:coolman:

Anyway, congrats!! WOW!:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:

Oh, as far as the COMBO number. I think I saw on a FORUM that out of 1 of 185 teal/blk cars..... that only around 75 +/- had sunroofs. Don't hold me to that. But that's whats been thrown around.

LOOK BELOW AT MY SINGATURE. SEE THE WTB PRINT IN IT. LOL

Found the link to the other forum. Saw the pics. Very nice. Looks great!
Try to post some pics on here under the picture gallery section.

How would you rate the paint? Are all the vin stickers in place? How's the driver seat?

If you are truly serious about the black one, PM me some details about trading and what not, like the build #, hows the paint, and what you would be seriously interested in doing.
The only thing wrong with the paint on mine, is two small (I'm talking like quarter to half dollar size) rust spots on the drivers quarter just right obove the tire. Other than that a few rock chips on the front bumper. All the Vin tags are there as far as I can tell. You would probably want to see mine as well anyway so PM me a number and I could also text you some more pics of whatever you would like, or arrange to take a look at it. Let me know, I absolutely would LOVE a black Cobra!!
Edit: The driver seat would need some work. Its not broken or anything, just the fabric is torn on the side bolster closest to the door. My car isn't pristine by any means, but for what it is its overall really nice. Its definitely not a rusted out shitbox! :) Oh and the title will be clear this week, still have to turn it in, I wasn't in a big hurry because its not going out in this weather anyway.

No problem brett just looking out for you since I bought the teal and black (without roof) we were both drooling over at the same time. Hope you guys may be able to work something out of this situation.

Car looks really good from what I can see in the pics. Looks like the normal stuff.....ash try lid, sagging map pockets, radio gone maybe?

Definitely a low build number with that upper intake. Everything looks nice and stock. Enjoy it this sping/summer.

Hey, Buddha.. Fill me in on the difference on the intakes.
As I thought I knew everthing about the Fox Cobra. I'm stumped on the difference on the intake from early to late build numbers.

Is it right in front of me.....:bash: that being the FACE PLATE on top of the intake is not painted?

Scroll down to the intake section. If you look at a later version, there is a ridge on the flat section along the side of the intake. I don't know how the badge on top correlates with the upper, but I've only seen them on low build numbers also.

Quite honestly, I've never seen on in person.....only pics.;-)

I just took a couple pics of mine (#199) for comparison's sake. The two main differences are the missing "ridge" on the plenum cap and the fact that it's a "rougher" finish than most other Cobra uppers I've seen.

From what I've read, they replaced this upper due to customer complaints about an engine noise and it was phased out around car #500ish, give or take.

Theoretically, it would make these cars more collectible because of the unique upper, but I don't know if it really translates to any additional value to the car. Definitely is a conversation piece as most Mustang enthusiasts don't know there ever were 2 different OEM uppers. Since mine is a Teal/Black car, I've got to assume it's one of just a handful made in that color combo WITH the unique upper intake.

Much better pic to look at for comparison. As far as the texture, yours looks to be about the same as either of my intakes.

Nice talking to ya 93cobraguy yesterday. Maybe something will work out for the both of us;-)

Definitely! LOL, talked for a while too. Sometimes I'm hard pressed to find anyone to talk cars with, that actually knows what they're talking about. I've been looking on the site for either a low price Termi, or a decent black Cobra. Personally I would rather find a terminator to throw your offer and a few grand at if I could, but we will see what happens...if not ill just hang on to this one and ill be getting another fox this week as a driver/project.
