To sum it up if you got anything from a Mx5 to mustang/camaro to ferrari you are welcome to attend. I was the only american car last year, but i got a lot of attention and made friends with quite a few people including ferraris, TVRs, GTRs etc. Most every person is a car enthusiast and will talk, BS, answer questions about their car. not like the States where the ferrari owners are too good to even speak to you.

If you enjoy driving very spiritedly through some Welsh back roads then this is the meet for you. I was losing traction around most turns with my IRS. If you prefer a slower pace then you wave people on to pass you. drive at your leisure but still need to be spirited. Hotel was very nice. heated pool, sauna, you gotta pay for massages etc. something you could bring you and your wife/Girlfriend to and they wouldn't complain too much. seems like a lot of money but me and my gf had a blast last year and can't begin to explain the expeirence or scenery. pictures don't do justice when you on the side of cliff or lost in the famous evo triangle.

That looks like one hell of an experience, just wish it was in Germany and around june lol!

Oh it is. I initially thought i would just do one tour with these guys. After the weekend it was epic!! Its only a 10 -12 hour drive for you plus you your army right? the place in wales is only 3 hours or so from my house.

I live in the town beside silverstone. I hear the races everytime they have them. From F1 cars to superbikes. best thing to wake up to on weekends during race season. well there is a american Royal AF base 10 mins from here. plus 3 or 4 others. i am sure you could make this trip i could arrange sleeping for you at the RAF bases possible.

I would want to bring my car would be the only real issue I would have, and I would have to get a travel passport! Does the ferry take cars across?

on your trip up i imagine super unleaded isn't gonna be cheap. There is a RAF base nearby but they don't even have super unleaded. Do you already get your gass on base? or have a special card for offbase ? I am sure they will transport your car. But you should buy a ticket in advance i believe. or the ferry.

Yea we have the fuel cards. You can put money on them and use them as a debit card almost. It charges you the military rate for however much is on it.
