Would it different if OP said that he punched it to the top of 2nd to get in traffic from an on-ramp? I didn't think so... Reading is obviously not your strong point...
I had a guy fly by me in a Nissan Murano on the highway. Never noticed him but that fly by is what drew my attention to him. After he slowed down and got beside me I looked over and he was staring at me and then started jerking his car. I just laughed... hard!
Yesterday, a lady in a Charger R/T was riding my ass for about a mile and did the same thing when she got beside me... the look down. When traffic opened up, she took off.
I think my plate provokes people in cars that would otherwise be unnoticeable, to want to **** with me.

so at the next stop light he raced a smart car with two 80 year old ladies in it just to show he is top dog .
wow some people just over react to certain things and this happens to one of them. you do relize there are people that do that kinda crap or even worse in car that aren't designed for speed like the mustang is, go yell and complain at them, besides would you rather it be a seasoned driver or some 17 year old punk with daddy's BMW think about it.

Too bad the OP doesn't realize sometimes people are just admiring his car and want to see what it can do. I do it all the time even if I'm in the Mach and know I have no chance I still like seeing a nice car go WOT.
