Uhhh... That link has been proven to be the wrong way to do the boost bypass (generates more heat) and you are saying this EGR delete thread basically incorporates the wrong way to the boost bypass as well?

Threads been up almost 2 years, my car made 670/600 with no heating, tuning or drivablity problems. Tell us all what's wrong and make a constructive recommendation before you just come into a proven "How To" thread with useless information and no contructive feedback.

The bypass still works in this confoiguration. It opens under vacuum and closes under boost. Stock does the same truing but the solenoid could pull boost out of the system even under wot.
This mod makes the bypass work just like every other bypass valve or wastegate.

Sorry. Let me clarify

The items in question is on the second paragraph on the first post of the thread below.

http://www.svtperformance.com/forum...-boost-drop-off-eliminate-boost-solenoid.html

If this EGR delete thread incorporates the RPM outlet way of doing the boost bypass, then we should research how to incorporate the revised boost bypass into the EGR delete and update this thread.

Thanks

If you or anyone else figures out a better way, let me know and I will update the thread. I don't have a Cobra to work with any longer.

This egr delete does incorporate that method, that method rearranges the vaccum lines so that the bypass valve gets a signal directly from the intake instead of from the solenoid. The way this ehr delete is written up its done the same way, but since the lines are all being redone u don't just simply swap the lines around.

Just did this today and was wondering where you guys got your t-fittings from? I couldnt find anything that would work in brass. I only found a plastic T from Autozone that might work.

I think Autozone has the brass T fittings in the misc parts section, the section that sells stuff like push clips, replace door handles, nuts bolts etc... If not, you can reuse the 3 way fitting from the OEM set up or try another store like Pepboys or hardware store.

Here is the vacuum setup I made, I used all the stock lines and just covered them with nice covering and shrinkwrap

How did you modify the stock plastic vacuum lines?
