Installing GT500 brakes on a 2001 Saleen.

Mass with Pads
Gt500: 11.13lb (5.05kg)
Saleen: 8.71lbs (3.95kg)

Overall Length
Gt500: 11.5"
Saleen: 9.5"

Piston Size
Gt500: Larger piston-1.732 (44mm) Smaller piston- 1.575 (40mm)
Saleen: Larger piston-1.575 (40mm) Smaller piston- 1.417 (36mm)

Bolt Spacing
Gt500: 5.905 (150mm)
Saleen: 5.119 (130mm)

The overall width of the calipers are the same, so there shouldnt be any clearance issues with the wheels.

I already had the Saleen brembos up front, but wanted more. I bought the brembos Brand new off ebay for $350, the rotors cost me $100 a piece from ford.....and some elbow grease. It was a no brainer.

If that bracket holds up then I think you just may have a niche product there. Those GT500 Brembos look REAL sharp!!

Can you make a set up for the Front & Back for an 03 Cobra??

do you think those welds are going to hold? real thin...

Tig on stainless, yea I think they'll hold. The brackets are a lot bigger in person, I minimized these photos...

14" rotors. Ill be selling a kit with the brackets and bolts once I put these through a rigorous test phase. Ill be moving to a two piece rotor in the near future as well.

Well this is a setup for the front, since we all share the same spindle. Im working on putting my old Saleen/00R brembos on the back as we speak with a 13" rotor.

just be careful not to "overbrake" the rear. It could cause unstability with hard braking, especially in less than ideal weather conditions.

Wow dude you need to get this kit going. I guess you need 18s minmum? I would be all over this if it is a decent price.
