Would you still be interested in this car if instead of an 850ish hp massaged GT500 engine, you instead got a N/A bespoke version of the 5.4L used in the GT3 cars, with power more likely in the 5-600 hp range? Just...
Just to put the 4K lbs into perspective. The $1.5M completely carbon fiber LaFerrari hybrid is ~3,600 lbs.
The electrics simply add a lot of weight. I'll give them a lot of credit for even offering it as a hybrid instead of full EV in todays environment.

It's inevitable that the hurricane makes it's way into the wrangler soon. Love the V8 obviously, but the I6 will be a much better fit for the jeep IMO.

Those boy racer looks will sell a whole helluva lot better that this Raptor. Performance is certainly debatable.
~7,800 sold YTD. Significantly below year ago S550, and waaaaay below all prior new gen sales. Not really a surprise with a very mild update in a dying segment.
Did I hear Larry right that the reason for not utilizing carbon rims was for cost reasons? That's a head scratch-er if so, simply due to the cars price point.
Also a bit surprised at the hinted weight, but sounds like they had no trouble overcoming that with massive grip and power.
