Have you considered looking into the Gforce T5? I bought this brand new cost about 2100.00 and then the Quicktime steel bellhousing NHRA approved for around 400.00 but you do need custom DS 400.00

G - Force is nice, but I would (already have) go with the TKO 500. You may find theTKO is a little notchy to shift compared to a T-5, but it is a very stout tranny. Not bad at all once you get used to it.

If you have a 4.6 you should look into the Pro-Motion T-45 rated at 700HP for about $1300.
Any competent speed shop has contacts for custom work or can do it themselves. I lucked out and found a guy that had Gforce T5 in his cobra but he got a Liberty viper spec T56 for next to nothing so i traded my aluminum FRP DS and a few bucks for his custom. He had that done for 400.00.
pretty sure the T5s are just for the 5.0 guys......

Nope you can get a G-force T5 for a modular. Doesn't seem worth it to me though with the other options available. :shrug:
