Being working on the dynamics of this prototype for sometime know.
After many long runs and reems of data to poor through.
The results are in.
Using iso 2005 calibrated temp. measuring devices the results are accurate to within +/- 1 degree
I've created a cooling blade which creates a tunnel of wind across the Eaton while expelling heat out of the hood vents at the same time.
The stock Eaton case gets very hot as we all know. Hot to the touch and retains heat for an extended period of time.
:fm:

With this new dual purpose cooling device you will see case tempuratures drop to an amazing 60 degrees. Thats over 237% cooler than stock temps.
Thats like driving on a cool early spring day!
Dyno results have netted me 46hp and 62tq compared to the same pre dyno drive.
It also helped lower the heat in the rear cylinders by 27% over stock readings
Another benifit was the reduced duty cycle of the fuel pumps @ over 15%.

We've all seen the posts about how to cool your eaton.
From fans in the hood vents to ducts from the fog lights to the blower.
We all know these ideas just fell of the face of the Earth.
This is a proven cooling unit to help the Terminator guys out in a big way.

The other benifit to most people will be the increase in blower whine.
:burnout:

Here is a pic of the unit!

"Will I have to get a re-tune?"

"Will this void my warranty?"

"Can we see a dyno graph?"

"How much?"

"When will this be available?"

"Should I get this or a CAI?"

"Can we get a GP on this?"

"I hear Steala is working on this same item!"

If that’s not supposed to be a joke it should be. I can’t imagine the cooling benefits would be enough to combat the parasitic draw from having that ridiculous thing on the snout in the first place.

If this is a joke, it's a cruel, cruel joke...

If this is not a joke, please let us know how much you'll be selling them for.

So, is it a joke or not? I'm guessing it's a joke because 60 degrees on the case of the Eaton sounds pretty impossible.

It's a joke, note the smile under the pic, also note how utterly stupid an idea it is.

I've also heard that as much air as it drawls through, it actuall helps propel the car forward at a faster rate :)

the problem is that JP is known to be an intelligent, inventive individual with good fabrication skills, thus he might be taken seriously on this

HOWEVER.....he is also a mischevious, cunning practical joker who likes to have a good time playing with people's minds (common practice among the MCT members...)

so, I guess the only thing I can advise is to use your best, logical judgement on this one ;-)
