I just might. Might get the "he's not in right now". The car was shipped home yesterday because I am leaving the state I am in so there's really nothing that can be done now besides see a new tuner.. So I am taking my L and gonna start again :/
Thank you as well for the advice and tips!
To answer your question from several replies ago about the tune details.. I called the Shop, I asked What Software, How Many Pulls, Timing.. all I got was "We will have the tuner answer that for you when he comes in" and I never got a call back! So...
Sadly I've been told by friends that off first glace it doesn't look tuned.. Thank you for the advice and I will be looking forward to seeing a new tuner in the next few weeks when my car arrives in GA. She left me yesterday :')
Thank you again for all the care and feedback.. I fully believe I will be going to another tuner in the near future.. But I will also be calling the place I went to tomorrow and find out some of these questions. I also think for the amount I spent ($856) that I should know these things.
Like I...
Def tracking this kind of move. I personally would love a Kenne but that will be a later project. I am wanting to enjoy the Eaton and what she has now but I want the most out of her (which I was hoping for, more than 418hp lmao). I'll sell this Eaton when I'm ready for that Kenne lol
As a learning experience, I agree for the next tune. I shouldn't have expected them to give me all the details on what was done. I was kinda like "oh.. alright then" and then walked out.
They did give me an invoice. I just cut out the personal info above but this was all that was stated.
Not at all! They didn't explain anything really. The most I did was fill out a sheet with all my mods. I go for pick up and they handed me my dyno sheet and keys, and that was it. In and out.
**Sheds tear. Beautiful.
See this is lovely. I had high hopes. I will say that some people suggested a tune from somewhere else and I will def. give that a shot. Just timing on my plate right now. I am in WA but will be heading to GA in a week before I get stationed in TX. I know I will be in...
Thank you for that input.. Not to knock the place I went to (they were the first place to tell me they do American cars) but I walked in and they just handed me the keys with no explanations. Gave me my sheet and that was it.
I will do my research and figure out the timing/lean issue. Like I...
Yeah we did get the car tuned after we installed all the mods (listed above). I filled out the dyno sheet with every mod and comment I could think of for what I wanted out of the tune.
Lean you say?
