Coyote swap, remote mount oil filter?

I'm putting a 2016 f150 5.0 into a 1970 f100. The factory coyote oil filter/cooler is contacting my Heidts cross member. Any concerns with a remote mount oil filter? Pressure restriction, oil leak back, ...? I see MMR has one, a bit pricey but looks complete with hoses and such.

Concerns with no oil cooler?

This will be daily driver. I doubt it will make any passes at the track.

Will a short filter solve the issue?
The Coyote installs on Cobra kit cars, require the short filter.
I had to remove the sandwich oil cooler that came on my Aluminator crate engine.
I do not have the short filter part number, but it comes in most common brands.

Short filter doesn't look like what I want and not sure it would fit. The f150 oil cooler is WAY not an option.
You can see the engine mount is still 2" or more off.

This is with the engine in place, f150 oil cooler/mount removed. The 3 holes at the top are where the filter mount attaches. The alternator is to the left, cross member is below, and steering rack (missing steering shaft). Not a great place for the filter, if it fit would i need to remove engine to service it? Lol.

Remote mount is fine. M-6881-M50A is the Gen2 Ford performance adapter. Read the instruction sheet for the gen1 M-6881-M50, it covers a lot of the best practices for remote filters on coyotes. They need a lot of oil flow and I've seen subpar remote cooler setups with oil pressure issues. No cooler is probably OK if youre just tooling around but it doesn't take much hard use to build a lot of oil temp on a Coyote. For track stuff you can almost never have too much cooler.

Coyobra, thanks! I will check that out, it's what I was hoping to find.

For what it's worth, I'm installing a Canton oil pan which I think has a higher volume. Should help with oil temp stability.

I have a 2016 f150 engine, is this really an issue? Using this f150 engine has made this a pita.
