Does it rev fine at say, 1/2 throttle? I would guess you have a bad coil (or two). If you have a straight-through exhaust you can hear it misfiring.

Factory is like .044, most guys would run tighter at .035, and high .020's with the boost turned up "Hand tight"

Basically a high octane race gas tune. More timing and often times combined with a smaller pulley for more boost

Now that I have driven the car with them on, I actually really like these mufflers. They don't give me that low bass sound I wanted out of Dynomax muffler, but man are they quiet (inside the car). Cold starts are stilly annoying sounding but that's what you get with these cars. Sounds alright...
