Is extrude hone still an option and what does it cost. My 99 Cobra had the replacement extrude hone intake installed by Ford dealers. It is some slick surface.

Trying to figure out my next move.

Will a short filter solve the issue? The Coyote installs on Cobra kit cars, require the short filter. I had to remove the sandwich oil cooler that came on my Aluminator crate engine. I do not have the short filter part number, but it comes in most common brands.

With the compression ratio and lack of hood space, a supercharger is not feasible. I do envy those push rod engines low end tq. I would have to do rolling starts to not get blistered by those stroker small blocks.
